Desperate to put your house in order for the new year? If clutter’s getting you down, you don’t have a place for everything, and your storage just isn’t up to the job, we can help. Take a look at our favourite ways to keep every room neat, organised and stylish.
Clear clutter from the hallway
To make the entrance to your home welcoming and attractive, hall storage is a must-have – and sizing to fit the family plus guests is essential. Think benches like this double storage design (above), which you can tidy shoes into as well as perch on to take them on and off, keeping the floor clear of clutter.

Optimise a utility area or boot room
Lucky enough to have a utility or boot room? Then make sure it’s working hard enough for you. Usually compact areas, these rooms can create super-efficient storage areas if you make the most of every wall. Bespoke fittings are very costly, but you can create the same outcome with our wall storage system (above). Combine just the units you need for what you store. Most of us prefer some open units to leave items easy to grab and some storage behind doors to make the most of the room.
Revamp living room storage
Selecting furniture that uses vertical space rather than adding too many extra low pieces is the way to additional living room storage without making the room feel cluttered or cramped. We’re huge fans of this New Hampshire 4 way sideboard with shelves (above), which balances cupboard space below with shelving above. That way, there’s plenty of easy-to-get-at storage as well as display space so you can give your room personality.

Organise your kitchen-diner
When you need to add kitchen and dining room storage without the high cost and disruption of a refit, a larder cupboard is a great buy. Our double New Hampshire larder with base drawers (above) can make a new home for space-hungry small appliances as well as dry ingredients, leaving the existing units free for the remainder of the room’s essentials.
Small kitchen or limited floor space? We have slim single versions of our larders and single and double top cupboards, too, so you really can store from floor to ceiling

Create order in bedrooms
A bedroom that’s relaxing demands great storage for clothes, shoes and accessories. One of our most sought-after solutions is the New Hampshire 4 way modular wardrobe (above). The combination shown is just one of many, so you can put together a design that fits exactly what you need to put away. There are hanging spaces with different drops, shelves, drawers and top and base cupboards.

Make more stash space in kids’ rooms
Our mantra for children’s rooms is storage that will last, look good and function beautifully from tot to teen years. Our multi modular storage (above) is mix and match so you can combine the elements to suit the room’s size and shape as well as what needs to be tidied up. In addition to cupboard and shelf options, think about incorporating appliance shelving and adding a padded seat, which can be upholstered in a fabric from our huge ranges or a design you supply.

Add storage to your bathroom
It’s surprising just how much clutter can accumulate in a bathroom. Many of us like a balance of open and closed storage in here. Great-looking bath, body and shower lotions are made to be out on display on shelving, while wall-hung and floorstanding cabinets and cupboards will deal with the refills you don’t want on show, spare loo rolls and any room-cleaning products you keep in there. Like the idea of storing towels in the room or don’t have an airing cupboard? Choose an option such as our laundry cupboard (above), which will hold everything in one place and look elegant to boot.
