Dressing your home for Christmas

Posted: 01/12/20 Dressing your home for Christmas

It’s no secret Christmas for us all is going to be a little different this year. With the news we can get together with two other households to celebrate, it’s given us the lift we needed to make the festivities as sparkly as ever. Whether you already have the festive-fever or are holding out until closer to the holidays, here’s our trio of tips for making your home feel full of Christmas spirit all month long.

Soft scents

Walk through the door from the crisp, wintery air into a home filled with warmth, sparkle and your favourite festive scent. The addition of a candle (or three) as a centrepiece on your favourite coffee table will make your home feel so cosy you’ll never want to leave.

Delicate décor

Tree or twigs? Faux or real? Every household is different and that’s what makes Christmas even more special – it should be styled to you. If you’re tight for space, delicately dressing corners of your room with baubles and twinkly lights, is a wonderful way to dust a sprinkle of magic. Style cinnamon sticks, dried oranges and pinecones from the outdoors for an extra festive touch.

Celebration corner

Whether it’s a glass of fizz on Christmas morning or something special to pop open come New Year’s Eve, a designated drinks area will remind you Christmas is for rejoicing. Versatile in shape and size, our Bruton table will become a focal point of your Christmas celebrations.
