This design – which is W:94cm D:51cm H:185cm – offers shelf space above that’ll fit towels or bed linen together with toiletries or laundry liquids and powders. Below are three drawers to provide additional linen storage that avoids even smaller items being lost at the back. For smaller rooms, we offer the French laundry cupboard (W:98cm x D:42cm H:130cm), New England small laundry cupboard (W:72cm D:33cm H:97cm) and French wardrobe (W:100cm D:63cm H:132cm). These provide cupboard space below a useful drawer, plus extra storage and display on top. The French wardrobe also has a hanging rail on which you can fit ironed shirts. If wall space is in short supply, consider tall narrow options such as the New Hampshire utility cupboard (W:49cm D:52cm H:196cm) and New Hampshire single drawer cupboard (W:45cm D:43cm H:164cm).
Style options for laundry storage cupboards
Our laundry storage cupboards are made to stand up to the humidity of bathrooms and utility rooms. They’re constructed using MDF which will not expand and contract in response to the conditions in the room. That makes our laundry storage cupboards extremely durable. When you choose your design, you can specify the paint colour in which it is to be finished – or order it unfinished and paint it yourself – allowing you to match it to other furniture colour in the room or add a new shade to the scheme. Pale colours can tone the piece in with the walls to space-stretching visual effect, while darker tones can put the focus on the smart piece of furniture. You can choose, too, the knobs or handles for your design. As standard our laundry storage cupboards are fitted with wooden knobs painted in the same shade as you select for the furniture, but you can choose different handles from our collection.
