Our standard 2-man delivery on heavy furniture is to most of mainland UK, but doesn’t cover the following areas:
AB, DD, DH, DG, EH, G, HS, IV, KA, KY, KW, LA, ML, PA, PH, TD, ZE.
We can still deliver to these areas but please email us at sales@thedormyhouse.com for a quotation.
Delivery times:
Painted furniture - 12-14 weeks.
Sofas and armchairs – allow 8-10 weeks
Headboards, beds & mattresses – within 3-5weeks
Valances, curtains, blinds, cushions and other soft furnishing orders – 3-5 weeks

The hallway of many a family home can become a magnet for clutter with jackets, coats and scarves discarded on the nearest chair or thrown over the newel post, and bags abandoned on the floor to trip up the next person who comes home. But if you don’t have room for a cupboard – or the one you have is already at capacity – you need storage that doesn’t fill any more of the floor. That’s where a wall-hung design like a peg shelf comes in. It’ll turn an area that’s not doing anything into super convenient storage that’s in the right place, encouraging family members to be tidier. When you’re ordering, you can pick any of our paint colours to finish your peg shelf. This means you can match it to the hue of your walls so it’s a subtle addition. But you could choose a more colourful finish from our range to make it more eye-catching. Mid blue, inky blue or barely black could complement your hallway decor brilliantly.
